Radical Sensuality

Inspired by Sonic De-linking, the concept of decolonizing hearing—following the so-called De-linking’s principle of decolonizing thought—describing how, for instance, naturalistic sounds in electronic music are deconstructed through the usage of effect devices, houaïda's research project Radical Sensuality, funded by Fonds Darstellende Künste (2018), focuses on the question of if there is an extra-semantic possibility to expand (Sonic) De-linking to the Sprechtheater—the semantically dominated theater space. Can a correlated performance and sound space, the “hybridsonicspace”, once it is radically experienced through the senses, affect people to re-feel so that a re-thinking becomes an intuitive consequence? Can the tool which creates the space be a Radical Sensuality?—the radical sensualization of everything; a principle that as a way-of-life might also support accessibility.
